Bert KetchumBert Ketchum was born and raised in Wayne County, West Virginia. He attended Ohio University where he received his BBA and was a member of Ohio's varsity baseball team. After receiving his doctorate of jurisprudence from John Marshall Law School, Bert returned to Huntington and joined Greene Ketchum. He is an experienced trial lawyer in the field of personal injury and has litigated cases in the state and federal courts of West Virginia, Ohio and Kentucky including, but not limited to, wrongful death, motor vehicle accidents, mining incidents, medical malpractice, workplace injuries, eminent domain and insurance disputes. Bert's appellate experience includes arguing cases before the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals and the United States Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. In 2007 Bert was honored as one of West Virginia's 40 best and brightest professionals under 40. He also received the honor of being commissioned a Kentucky Colonel in 2008. Bert serves on the Board of Directors for the West Virginia Association for Justice and for the WV Public Defender Corporation (6th & 24th Judicial Circuits), is a member of the American Association for Justice Construction Site Accident Litigation Group , served on Gov. Joe Manchin and Gov. Bob Wise's Judicial Advisory Committees and is a past President of the Cabell County Bar Association. EDUCATION
